Thank god not another lua article. I'm now to decide what scripting language to use for a game and do some research on both Lua and GameMonkey. I must admit I never tried JScript. The more I read about Lua and GameMonkey the more I tend to use GameMonkey. Both are powerfull, both are flexible but while doing some testing I noticed that Lua takes way longer to integrate into an app compared to GameMonkey.Nice results.

I've definitly looked into Lua because its so popular. Honestly, it just looked so much more complicated to get going. I'm also not a fan of its syntax.

I prefer GM's syntax and it is pretty quick to throw into a project.

Out of interest, why did you use GM and not Lua? Many people seem to pick Lua, Ruby, or most other languages, not GM...

I'm a long-time user of GM and must say I love it, I'm suprised to see this article!
